BoroughCon welcomes Chester Rushing, best known for his role of Tommy H. on Netflix’s critically acclaimed Stranger Things, as a special guest for the event.
Rushing’s work spans such films as Cold Moon, My Father Die, The Duel, Don’t Look in the Basement 2, and Believe Me. He also has a small role in Logan, the latest film in the X-Men franchise. Rushing has also appeared on CBS’s NCIS: New Orleans and WE tv’s South of Hell. When not filming, he tours with his band performing music from his album Halfway Across the Stars. His original music has been remixed by several DJs across the globe including the single “Paint the World,” which reached #2 on the Italian EDM charts.
Rushing’s Stranger Things castmate Sean Astin headlines BoroughCon’s celebrity roster along with The Walking Dead‘s Khary Payton. Acclaimed voice actors Jess Arnell and Johnny Brennan will lend their talent to the event, with more announcements to come.
BoroughCon will be held Memorial Day Weekend 2017 at St. John’s University in Queens, New York, from Friday, May 26 through Monday, May 29. A host of top-shelf voice actors, live-action stars, influential comic book artists, professional cosplayers and highly-ranked e-sports athletes will be on hand for the launch of this pop culture expo.
